Belgium - Week 32 (Liege)

9/30/13

Oh, oops, I guess I should probably translate that ;).

Basically it was another great week! Elder Aleccia was sick for a couple days this week so we had less time than normal to work, but we still saw tons of great miracles and success!

During the week we went porting (knocked on some doors) and on the same street we taught a couple lessons and found some new investigators. One of the doors we knocked was the house of a young family with three kids. They are a beautiful Belge family who were super receptive to the message we brought to their door. They believe that in the world today the family is being attacked on many fronts. We explained how a family built on Christ is better prepared to face these trials and will be more unified and happier. I love testifying about things like that because I KNOW its true. I've seen the effects in my own family. (Hel. 5:12)

Lets see.... On Tuesday Elder Aleccia and I gave a training to our zone which was super cool because we got to talk about finding. Basically we focused on how we can search all day everyday for people to teach relying on our own efforts but that won't really profit us anything. You need to rely on the spirit so you can be led to the people who are already prepared!

Tomorrow we will be doing some more training for the zone so we're excited for that.

Oh we set 2 more baptismal dates this week so that's a miracle in and of itself. That makes three total. Please Keep Gilles, Teddy and Roméo in your prayers.

Overall life is great. I have learned so much these past couple weeks living with Elder Aleccia, Hill and Andersen. They're great guys and very experienced missionaries.

ALSO!

General Conference is this weekend. For those of you who don't know... General conference is an event that happens two times a year when a living, modern day prophet of God addresses the world. I invite and challenge all of you no matter who you are or what you believe to listen to the inspired council that will be given. I promise that if you listen with an open heart and an open mind that it can change your life. You should be able to find it here at lds.org

Passez une bonne semaine mes amis!
Elder Davis
